Having built timber Poultry Houses for over 70 years, our reputation
for building quality is recognised throughout the world.
All our exterior timber cladding, including sole plates and door
posts, are pressure treated in our own treatment plant to BS4072
then left to cure and dry.
This ensures the treatment lasts for the life of the timber and
gives a pleasing golden brown finish - as an alternative, steel
profiled sheeting can be used for the external cladding. All the
timber is machined and supplied from our own Mill in Long Whatton,
Leics, enabling us to maintain a very high standard of quality control.
Roof sheeting is supplied in a variety of colours, being galvanised
then usually polyester coated.
Roof insulation is with fibreglass which we seal in a polythene
enclosure before laying. This ensures the prevention of moisture
absorption or dust build up and maintains effectiveness.
Wall insulation is also by fibreglass which is attached to each
panel before despatch to avoid any vertical movement. Once a design
is agreed, we provide full specification drawings suitable for Planning
Applications along with detailed foundation plan drawings for your
basework.
For larger Turnkey projects, we can be employed as main contractor
to take care of everything from site clearance to finished farm
ready for livestock.
